A love letter
Dear all my artists
and creative friends,

Without you this world would be so boring and lifeless. I don't think you get enough credit for what you do. Thank you. You inspire me. You make my life colorful again.

I'm an artist too. My medium just happens to be technology and engineering.

I've wanted to build something for you for a long time. Something that makes your life a little easier. Not something that messes with what you already make.

I'm not great with words either. Maybe that's why I build and design crazy stuff. To say things I don't know how to say out loud.

I think a lot of you feel this too. We make things because talking about ourselves is hard. We're not always good at explaining what we do or why we do it. So we let the work talk instead.

The annoying thing is we still have to explain ourselves anyway.

You spend years learning your craft, making things, experimenting, failing, growing. Then one day you're expected to become a writer, storyteller, marketer, and personal brand too.

Every time someone asks, "So what do you do?"

And suddenly everything just goes quiet.

So I made you a little friend.

Her name is Muse.

She's not a form or a questionnaire. She just talks to you. She starts with one question and follows wherever you go. Tell her about your work, your process, your inspirations, your weird little obsessions, your dreams, the things you care about.

When she gets to know you, she gives you back the words you've been looking for.

Your bio, your story, your artist statement, your captions, your website copy.

The things you've always known, but never quite known how to say.

In your voice. Not a template. Not someone else's words. Just you.

I called her Muse because you are mine.

Couldn't think of a better name for something I made from my heart for you. You make me want to create. You make me want to build. You make me want to share things with the world.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed building it. Let me know what you think :)

With love,
I made you a little friend. Go say hi.
